Create Space is the only place you can get the printed version right now, but soon Amazon will have it also. The price is $8.99.

I’m in the final proof-reading stages of Fly Like a Penguin, Volume 2, The Smell of Evil. My Proof copy came in the mail today from Create Space. I need to read through it to see if I made any stupid mistakes. In the unlikely event that I didn’t, I will then complete the publishing process, and it will be made available at Amazon and at Create Space. Next on the agenda will be to publish it at Smashwords and Kindle as an e-book.

Now I’ve officially published the print version of Fly Like a Penguin, Volume 1, The Long Way Home. So far it’s just available at Create Space. Within a week or so it should on Amazon.com, and following that other locations. It’s been out as an e-book for the past few weeks at Smashwords and Kindle. The price is $0.99 for the e-book and $8.99 for the printed version.
Smashwords is having this promotion next week, and I’ve decided to be a part of it. I’ll post a coupon next week for a free download.
Okay, now the ebook, which is available for any type of e-reader through Kindle and Smashwords, has the same cover as the printed version, which I hope will be out soon. Right now I’m waiting for the proof copy, so I can make sure it looks good.

The revised Fly Like a Penguin is now a Kindle book called The Long Way Home. It turns out there are millions of other books with that title. Oh well. It fits my story well, and it works as the first book of a series. It also has a different cover from the printed version.
I’ve recently revised Fly Like a Penguin and added the subtitle, The Long Way Home. It should be available on most outlets as a printed book, and as an ebook on Kindle. I plan on making it available for other e-readers soon.
Then I’ll work on getting Volume 2, The Smell of Evil, ready. That should be in a few months.
